In conjunction with Top Competition Engine builder, Schuck Motorsports, Performance Welding Racing Headers has Carburetor spacer and shear plates to compliment our line of Competition Headers and Merged Collectors.

In a Competition Engine on initial camshaft overlap an inherit problem is a short pulse of reversion that can literally send a pulse back up through the carburetor. Our Competition Racing Headers are designed to eliminate as much reversion as possible drawing a fresh charge of air and fuel to increase the volumetric efficiency of your competition engine.

Our Carburetor shear plates are designed to help eliminate some of the reversion pulse on initial overlap then letting the competition Header do its job of cylinder scavenging.

Our CNC machined Carburetor spacers are machined directionally with flow channels to help direct the air / fuel charge from the carburetor in a pattern to increase efficiency.

As with our Racing Headers, each Competition Engine can have its own inherent needs and these spacers can be used as a tool to increase the Volumetric Efficiency of your Engines Combination.

We offer our spacers and shear plates in several designs, thickness and for several Carburetor sizes. Performance Welding Racing Headers has proven that Spacer and Shear Plate combinations can be a very valuable tool to increase the power and acceleration of your Competition Engine.
